British Countryside Art

Original oil paintings, art prints and paper goods inspired by hedgerows, cottage gardens, woodland edges and the turning seasons.

For people who have muddy boots by the door and notice the way the seasons change familiar places.

Hi, I’m Birgit – an artist and human to several four-legged studio assistants, who take their supervisory roles very seriously.

My work focuses on small, everyday scenes – hedgerows, gardens, woodland habitats, and domestic spaces where nature and daily life overlap.

Because the most interesting places are rarely perfect – they are lived in, slightly untidy, and shared. And this is as true of forests as it is of gardens and homes.
